Itinerary

The Komodo Islands Dragons, Manta Rays and Volcano Adventure
Best time to visit: May - September

The Komodo National Park is located within the Lesser Sunda Islands and consists of the three large islands of Komodo, Padar and Rinca as well as 26 smaller ones. The Komodo Islands are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accessible only by boat, they offer unparalleled views and easy hikes on grassy islands that are home to the worldʼs largest lizard - The Komodo Dragon. Guests can enjoy world-class diving and snorkelling in warm turquoise waters abundant with marine life as well as dramatic white sandy beaches.

Sample Itinerary – 7 nights / 14 nights

Day 1 – Arrive in Flores and join Tiger Blue before sailing to Pulau Rinca, a small island near Komodo Island. The island is famous for Komodo Dragons as well as wild pigs, buffalos and many exotic birds.


Day 2 - Early morning hike Pulau Rinca, viewing wildlife including the Komodo Dragons. Over lunch sail to Padar Island and enjoy a bonfire over cocktails on a pristine beach.


Day 3 – Spend the morning at Padar Bay and over lunch sail to Nusa Kode (South Rinca island). Explore the bay, dive/snorkel, enjoy water skiing, wake boarding and kayaking, the beaches, hiking or just relax!


Day 4 - Nusa Kode with all the activities above.


Day 5 - Early morning sail to Manta Alley (South Komodo) and dive/snorkel with these magnificent creatures. During Lunch sail to remote South Komodo Bay.


Day 6 - Early morning sail to Pantai Merah (Pink Beach), Loh Liang on Komodo Island. Here local villagers on sampanʼs (canoes) may paddle up to Tiger Blue to sell souvenirs. In the afternoon sail to Pulau Mawan where a great beach is waiting and the Batu Bulong dive site is within reach.


Day 7 - Early morning sail to Gili Lawa Laut, North Komodo. Dive and snorkel around Cristal and Castle rock, and hike the island for stunning views. In the afternoon head to a pristine bay at Gillie Lawa Darat to moor for the night.
