An exclusive Water of Asia adventure. Discover Bangkok, its fantastic temples, klongs and nightlife, travel to Kanchanaburi to discover beautiful landscapes and WWII historical sites. Live a children dream and bath with your elephant in the famous river Kwai.

Cruise from Ranong to the Similan islands and discover beautiful sites such as Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon or Koh Surin (You can also choose to cruise towards Burma, just let us know).

End your tour on Koh Phayam, a peaceful island where you will be able to enjoy a drink on the beach and to do some bird watching, toucans, sea eagles and hornbills can be admired there.

Day 1 Leave home, fly to Bangkok

Day 2 Arrival in Bangkok, a team member will greet you at the airport, you will then head to your hotel near Kho San road hotel check-in, welcome briefing with your guide, the rest of the day/night is free so that you can enjoy the shopping and nightlife in Bangkok.

Day 3 B-L Discover Bangkok with your guide, The Royal Palace, Wat Pho, the sky train, Jim Thompson House and a traditional boat trip. Enjoy a massage at the end of the day before returning to your hotel for a free evening in Bangkok.

Day 4 B-L Leave for Kanchanaburi (1h30). Head to the impressive Erawan waterfalls before discovering the local specialities for lunch. Visit the caves of Lawa and the hot water springs. On the way to your Karen camp ( the Karen people are a tribe that lives on the Thailand/Burma border) you will have the opportunity to go on a mountain bike ride (this is an option) or to visit Sayiyok Noi market. Spend the night in the Karen camp with the locals.

Day 5 B-L Breakfast before meeting your elephant for a morning bath in the river followed by a ride on his back (the elephants are well taken care of). After your ride, go bamboo rafting on the River Kwai. Have a lunch in a small local restaurant before visiting the Wang Pho viaduct and the famous Krasae cave. On the way back visit the Hell Fire Pass museum before heading back to your riverside hotel, enjoy a free night in Kanchanaburi. (The Tiger temple is not part of this itinerary as we do not support this attraction)

Day 6B-D Leave for your flight to Ranong in the morning. Arrive in Ranong, the first Southwest Thai city on the Burmese border, it faces Koh Surin and one of the best Thai diving spot sRichelieu Rock. Board your cruise boat for a 4 days and 3 nights unforgettable adventure. Welcome briefing on your boat, settle in your cabin and leave for Koh Surin. Enjoy your first night on the boat. (An option to cruise to Burma is available please ask us)

Day 7 B-L-D First dive in the North of Koh Chi followed by two fantastic drift dives in the South. After the third dive, meet the local “Sea Gypsies” before getting ready for your night dive. With a rich and diverse underwater wildlife, the Surin islands have a lot to offer with the possibility to dive with manta rays, guitar and reef sharks. Finally head to Koh Bon, a manta ray cleaning station. Night on the boat.

Day 8B-L-D Start your day with two dives, one in Koh Bon and the other in the Koh Bon Pinnacle, the main attraction here are the Manta rays but it is also possible to sometime spot a whale shark and leopard sharks. Then your boat will take you to Koh Tachai another diving spot where you can swim with Manta rays and the whale sharks. Finish the day with a fantastic night dive before getting together on the boat for a barbeque. Night on the boat.

Day 9B-L Today, dive in the famous Richelieu Rock, Thailand’s most famous dive site. It is like a giant fish tank where you will be able to observe whale sharks, sea horses and many other species. You will enjoy three dives in this great spot before heading back towards Ranong. Arrive in Koh Phayam around 6.00PM, a little paradise island that remains off the major tourist trails. Check into your bungalow and enjoy the night on Koh Phayam.

Day 10 to 13 Enjoy this relaxing time on Koh Phayam, discover the island’s fauna and flora. You can also hire a bike to explore the island. Snorkeling, swimming, massages, fantastic sunsets, you can choose the activities that will all be part of your stay on Koh Phayam.

Day 14 Return to Ranong  for your flight back (or a first class night train) to Bangkok to connect with your flight back home. Depending on your flight connection, you can leave your baggage in storage if you like to do some souvenirs shopping in Bangkok before flying.
