Since July 2001 the SMY Ondina travels year round moving with the seasons in order to visit the best diving spots Indonesia has to offer at the right times e.g.: Komodo, Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Lembeh Strait, Wakatobi, Gorontalo, Ambon, Banda and Flores.

This means an itinerary like no other through the very heart of an area with extreme high marine biodiversity.
The Ondina can have a total of 16 divers. Travelling aboard this classic Buginese schooner, built entirely of teak and tropical wood, you will have the opportunity to explore and dive the most exotic and remote islands of Indonesia seeing places which you never could reach by yourself. On board Ondina you will have enough space to relax alone, to have a nice chat sitting in the cool atmosphere of our a/c dining room, or to enjoy a full moon evening in a comfortable hammock on the spacious sun deck before taking a rest in your a/c cabin.

The boat offers comfortable accommodation to be your home and base camp as you sail and dive in various areas.

DIVING TRIP : Raja Ampat Liveaboard

8 Days / 7 Nights

Day One : Arrival at Sorong Airport (L,D) Arrival in Sorong Jeffman Airport by M
erpati Airline. Our representative will be waiting outside the arrival hall and ready to escort you the ship for immediate boarding. Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departure.
Take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel, make yourself comfortable. Dinner will be served while departing towards Misool Island.

Day Two and Three : Misool Island Group (B,L,D) Welcome to a remote Island group, northeast of Misool, so pristine and untouched. This area offers a mesmerizing underwater scape which boasts walls and pinnacles where not an inch is left uncovered. This dive site has an unusual high concentration of huge, undisturbed, and giant clams. The Misool Island group sits at the entrance of the Seram Sea, two degrees from south of the equator.
The islands, or islets, are uncountable. The larger ones, like Misool itself, have canyons and lagoons speckled with white sand beaches ideal for tender boat rides. One can spend hours exploring and enjoying the same bay. It really is a place of great beauty both above and below the water.
It’s rightly being considered by the Indonesian government for national park status and by the United Nations as a world heritage site. In here, there are over 1100 species of fish and over 450 different species of corals making this area one of the most diverse marine habitats in the world.
Famous Bacet and Farondi are also in the list.

Day Four : Penemu Island (B,L,D) There are a few dive points that are famous such as Barracuda Reef when you could spot a large school of Barracuda fish. Also, other good dive sites are Clam Wall as well as Batu Burung. Lunch will be served in between the dives.
A night dive is offered in the best dive site around.

Day Five : Yanggelo Island (B,L,D) Full day diving in this area. Lunch and dinner are served in between the dives

Day Six : Kri Island (B,L,D) Welcome to Kri Island. Kri is a great start of the day with most fish and coral species accounted on a single dive site. Truly dive sites like Cape Kri, of Dr. Allen’s 30-year lifetime record fish count, Mike’s Point, Sardine and Chicken Reef offer an unforgettable diving experience where you could spot huge schools of fish parade by barracuda and pale or blue tail surgeonfish patrol the reef top, while below schools of trevally and fusiliers whiz past and encircle you. Manta is usually seen.

Day Seven : Jerieff Island (B,L,D) Welcome to Jerief Island. Morning dive in air craft wreck is one of good attraction in this area. Japanese Bomber 47 Sunk at Depth 38, second dive can be made at the other side of island also Japanese Bomber 47 at depth 25 meters and night dive can be made here as well at night the ship anchoring the whole night here.
