Day 1 Leave home, fly to Kuala Lumpur

Day 2 Arrive in Kuala Lumpur, head to your hotel by the airport Free day and night in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 3 L-D Wake around 6AM to catch your 7.20AM flight to Tawau. Arrive in Tawau at 10.05AM, aiport welcome and transfer to your Kapalai hotel with a first stop in Semporna where you will have to go through some official formalities before getting on the boat to Kapalai (approx 3h in total). Arrive in Kapalai, check in and briefing on your dive program. Night on Kapalai.

Day 4 B-L-D Diving day with 3 dives from the boat and unlimited dives on the house reef. Night on Kapalai.

Day 5 B-L-D Diving day in Sipadan with 3 dives around the island. Return around 4pm to enjoy the rest of the day free. Night on Kapalai.

Day 6 B-L-D Leave in the morning for Semporna, transfer to Sukau National Park. Check into your Lodge and set off on a wildlife river cruise to see orangutans in their natural habitat. Return to the Lodge for dinner. Night in Sukau.

Day 7 B-L-D Depart at dawn for another river cruise, have breakfast on the boat while trying to spot wild elephants in the jungle. Get back to the lodge to rest and to take your lunch before setting off on the discovery of another side of the river in the afternoon. Relax before dinner. Night trek (optional) to observe nocturnal wildlife. Night in Sukau.

Day 8 B-L-D Leave for Sandakan after breakfast, check into your resort and visit their orangutan rehabilitation centre. Optional night trek. Night in Sandakan.

Day 9 B-L-D Leave in the morning for the Lankayan harbour for a 90 minutes speed boat transfer to the island of Lankayan. Check into your bungalow and start your diving program. Night on Lankayan.

Day 10 to 13 B-L-D Your program for the next four days: 3 dives a day from the boat and unlimited dives on the house reef. Possibility of attending the birth of baby turtles, of their release and even the laying of turtle eggs on the island´s beaches. Night on Lankayan.

Day 14 B Return to Sandakan in the morning. Free day and night in Sandakan.

Day 15 B Transfer to Sandakan airport around 8am (taxi not included) Take-off at 10.25am to Kuala Lumpur to connect with your flight home.
